Yearbooks.
Years in yellow are ones I do not have. If you have any of these and wish to sell any missing issue up to 1980, please email to david@davidgleason.com. I can also scan and return the original to you; due to the work, I can not scan post-1950 volumes "by hand" so I must buy those.

Over recent years, most public and university libraries that held collections of Broadcasting weekly and yearbook issues have eliminated those resources upon analysis of usage; they were neither digitized nor microfilmed.

Most libraries disposed of the Broadcasting issues. A few sets went to eBay sellers, and the rest are lost to the general public with an interest in the history of radio. (I stopped at 1980 as newer issues are widely available in libraries.)

With this in mind, I am trying to create a "virtual library" online with all the Broadcasting magazines and yearbooks and other industry publication that I can both find and afford to buy.

This project is totally personal. It is not supported by the original publisher (although I invite them to assist with missing issues or even take over this laborious task!).

Anyone with any of the missing issues who is willing to loan them for scanning or scan to the page specifications is invited to contribute. Together, those of us who love radio and its rich history can preserve for the future the publications that detail each and every day of the medium.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.  Naturally, the sheer volume of material makes errors and mistakes probable if not inevitable. Tell me about them, and I'll fix them.
