Complete original editions

Radex Magazines from 1926 to 1942. Click on any link below to open a 2 to 7 megabyte PDF file. All AM, FM and TV in US, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean are listed. Some editions show international short-wave, too.

Each issue is more than a hobbyist log book... it also contains articles on radio, DXing, receivers, programs and famous announcers. They are snapshots of radio from the late 20's into the 40's. Several of the issues have complete listings of Medium and Shortwave stations worldwide. Network program schedules are featured in many issues.

Many issues have been rescanned at higher resolutions and with color covers. To compensate for faded, ageing pages, different issues may be scanned in different manners to enhance readability The result is often slightly larger files, and longer download times.
When you click on and issue, your screen will be blank for a few moments, depending on your download speed.

Radex 148 January 1942
NARBA implemented.
The next issue,
February 1942, was the last Radex ever.

Of particular interest is a comparison between the 1940 edition and the 1942 one. This comparison shows the effect of the reallocations in North America based on the NARBA treaty, originally scheduled for Summer of 1940 but postponed until 1941.

Each issue is 2 to 10 MB in size. Please be patient as each downloads.
